Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7,5
Operating System:windows XP
Here I have XYZ data, but for Y the step value is not the same.
So when I choose Z to convert to matrix to Regular XYZ make contour plot,it is impossible.
There is an Attention coming out: Deviation in data is greater than 25% of step value-try radom XYZ conversion.
But to choose radom XYZ I can not get the colourful contour picture I need.
What should I do to make contour plot under this condition?
Thanks a lot.

Hi:

If the Y is not uniform spaced, you should use Random XYZ gridding, which means the grid cells are calculated by some kind of interpolation.

Maybe you can provide some data and tell us what you expect to plot?

Sorry, I didn't make it clear. Please send your data to tech@originlab.com

In your email, please describe what you want the plot looks like, and why the Random XYZ gridding result is not you need.

Thanks
