Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): ORIGIN 7.5G SR6
Operating System: Win XP Prof. SP2

As i know, ORIGIN can handle a big amount of data. But what is maxium size (MB) of one opj-file ?
Background:
I store all the operating values from a test engine for more than 2 years, so including all diagrams, layouts etc the project has now about 200 MB and it takes several minutes to open or save it. Also the ORIGIN-program itself becames a bit "unstable", because from time to time it terminates all of a sudden without any message . . .
What can i do ?

Maximum project size depends mostly on available memory and it sounds like you reached your practical limit a while ago. If you have been doing any analysis it's possible that you have amassed many unattached datasets (not in a worksheet or graph). Those can all be deleted with the LabTalk command del -as. Ultimately you will probably have to divide your huge project into two or more smaller projects. If you've been using project folders right-click on each folder and select Save as Project.
