Origin Version (Originpro7):
Operating System:xp
hi,
I want to customize my histograms in a way that the frequencies for each bin is calculated in a manner different to what is exisiting in origin (a weighted histogram, for example). For instance the contribution of a data point to a frequency of a particular bin is not 1 (as usual) but is a number that depends on its weight. In this case the frequency can be a non integral value.

The question is how do I access the bin worksheet data to alter it in a way that the frequencies are calculated in a way that is descibed above. The bin worksheets in origin are always read-only and I cant change them. Where is the script that calculates the bin and counts for the normal histogram plotting in Origin ? I have written the script already for the bin and frequency calculation but I dont know to plot it the way orgin does (For example, I use the column ploting menu for my histogram but it does not have the curve options (the drop down list containing normal, lorentzian etc in the plot details section). Any help is appreciated,
Thanks,
COSY
