How can I input a latin letter like \tilde{a} in latex?

For a complete list of text formatting switched look at LabTalk's label command in the programming guide or open the Text Formatting project (Samples\Graphing\Miscellaneous\). I'm afraid tilde-over-letter (e.g., ) is not among them. However, many fonts have tilded versions of a, n, o, A, N, and O and you can insert those characters with \(ASCII character code). (For example, = \(227).) Use Window's Character Map or Origin's Symbol Map to find the character codes. Origin's Symbol Map will also insert the symbol directly. If you need tilded versions of other characters you'll probably need to create the text label in some application such as latex that can do it and insert it in Origin as an image.
