Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 6.1
Operating System: Windows XP

I want to use the function Fit multi-peak Gaussian to deconvolute a fluorescence spectrum which presents 2 peaks. But the problem is that the 2 Gaussians calculated by Origin don't fit with the 2 peaks.

What is the problem? Is it something about the initial width estimate, or about the baseline?

Help me please!!!

It's impossible to know without looking at your data. If the peaks are poorly resolved (separation less than the width of either) then the Advanced Fitter (Analysis> Non-linear Curve Fitter) will work much better because it gives you much more control over the fitting process.
