Origin Version (OriginPro7):
Operating System:XP
Hi,
Can someone just give an introduction as to how the fit parameters are optimized when one chooses Fit multiple datasets option in the Advanced Fitting Tool. This seems to give the most reliable results compared to fitting to the average of the datasets...
Thanks and Regards,
COSY.

Hi COSY,

Not sure what you want to know but with Fit Multiple Datasets all data are fitted simultaneously to minimize the total chi^2. The fitter won't allow you to select more than 50 datasets but the number that can be successfully fitted depends on the fitting function.
