It will be convenient if in Origin it is able to insert some special characters to mark peaks or a special position, such as using solid/hollow triangles, squares, circles. How do you do this? I know it is able to do that to create a dataset and plot scatter, but is there an easier way?

You can access Origin's symbols with the Origin font. If it's not already on your font list you can download it here.
