Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7
Operating System: Win XP

Hello all,

I'm trying to fit a convolution of gaussian and exponential decay. Is this the gaussmod function in the fitting wizard? It sure looks like it but wanted to double check with the experts. Thanks in advance.

Mike

Hi, ucsbmike

Gaussmod function in Origin is "Exponentially modified Gaussian peak function" for use in Chromatography, and you can see its description in the "Non-linear curve fitting::Advanced fitting tools" under the menu.

Further more, whether it is the proper function to fit your data is depend on your own need, we didn't know if it is right for you.

Thanks
Fisher
