Origin Version (7):
Operating System:XP

Hi
I take spectra, so I have wavelength on the x axis and intensity on the y axis. my data is arranged in xy on a worksheet. My data starts for example at 300.56nm and what I want to do is take the data that starts at the nearest number to 380 then pick every 5th data point, eg 385nm, 390nm etc and then stop at 780nm. and then put this data into a new worksheet. Is this possible?

Many thanks in advance

Lisa

Hi Lisa:

Maybe you can use the Extract worksheet Data (Analysis : Extract Worksheet Data...) and set the condition like:

mod(i, 5) == 0 && i>=380 && i<=780
