Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5G
Operating System:Windows

Hi!

I'm not yet really familiar with Origin, but I would like to do a multiple peak lorentz fit. Using the NLSF Wizzard I get the error message: Parameter w1,w2,w3,w4,w5,w6 are not initialized accurately. In the advanced mode I can't find any option for multiple peaks, but fitting works for the single peaks. I would be very grateful if anybody could help me with this.

Kind Regards

If you use the Advanced Fitter see this...

When fitting multiple peaks with the Wizard the initial parameter values generally need to be adjusted so click the Parameter Display button when you get to the Fitting Control page. That will open the Parameter dialog in which you can enter reasonable guesses for each parameter value.
