Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5E
Operating System: windows vista business

Hello all,
I have installed originpro7.5 in a machine running on windows vista. The installation was successful. But when i try to open the origin, the program is not opening. The initial window displaying ORIGIN, comes but nothing happens further. Can any of you please write me what is going wrong and any solution for the same.

Hi Bala:

You can try to reinstall Origin by turnning off the UAC (User Account Control). And then when you run Origin for the first time, it will be better NOT to specify the User File Folder on the Origin .exe folder. Some path like "C:\Users\<user>\Documents\OriginLab\Origin8\User Files\" would be good.
