Hi everyone, I have a problem, maybe it sounds trivial, but I really have no idea how to write an Angstrom unit (letter 'A' with a small circle above it) under an axis as a unit... please somebody help me, it's urgent!

IF (and this is a big if) you happen to have the Math3 font (It comes with MathType for instance) you can insert

\f:Math3(\(222))

in the control properties dialog box for the axis label.

The unicode (hex) value for the angstrom symbol is 00C5. Perhaps someone can share how to insert symbols beyond the ASCII set?

Oops... I posted too quickly.

The escape sequence "\(197)" will work.

Right click on the axis label and choose "Properties..."

Hey!
thanks for the reply. I tried it your way and then I found it in the symbol map, but it's displayed in a wrong way... too bad. I don't have the Math3 font, do you know if it's possible to add it somehow to the OriginLab 7.5?

When in in-place editing of the text label, right-click and choose Symbol Map. In the Symbol Map dialog, choose the Times New Roman font. You can then select the Angstrom character and click the Insert button.
