Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5
Operating System: XP

Hi,

I have a 2D-matrix filled via SET VALUES and have it plotted with a 3D color map surface. Now I want to plot only those cells, for which something like i*j > 15 holds. The other cells i,j should be empty. Or, if that's not possible, they should or get a negative value (my z-coordinate range is positive, only). Is this possible?

regards,
Bernhard

Hi Bernhard,

Could you try to type
(i*j>15)? i*j:-1
in your Set Values dialog?

Please note that, the formula before colon is for the hold cells, whose i * j is bigger than 15. The formula later is for other cells.

Hope it can help you.

Thanks
Fay
