I need to baseline some voltametry (differential pulse voltammetry) data by user defined dataset.

the issue is that the generation of the baseline has to be performed manually to fit tightly under the raw data in the sense that the use of a generic equation wont really work.

however, by starting with a y=0 baseline worksheet (with 20 points, say) and manually entering y- values seems to work, but i cannot subtract this manually defined baseline from the data in order to deconvolute the raw data.

ideally i would like to know if i can define the desired baseline through the GUI (by dragging a y=0 baseline to the desired places, for instance)as opposed by through manually changing values in the baseline worksheet.

i guess either a manual or automated option would be nice

I hope someone can help :)

Hi Masterd,

I think you can try the Peak Fit Module which provides more advanced baseline creation options than the Baselne tool.

Hi Deanna,

PFM Module is exactly what we needed! It lets us pick the points for the custom baseline.
