Hi,
I'm trying to add a page.info section to a graph window, Origin8 SR2. The corresponding tree was created using AddTextNode() method. When its string argument does not begin with a char, it is interpreted and set as a double value automatically when applying SetSection() method.

e.g. tn.AddTextNode("1|2", "STRVALUE"); as well as
tn.AddTextNode("1", "STRVALUE");

will result in

[SORTVALUES]
STRVALUE$ = 1.

This was not the case in Origin V7.5. Thus, V7.5 code will not work properly in V8 anymore.

Is there any trick or argument I can set to avoid this behavior?

Thanks for any advice,

Michael

Hi Michael,

This is a bug in SR2 and already fixed in SR3, could you please update your Origin80?
