Hello everyone,
my problem is to fit a ternary plot. I have 7 measuring points I want to fit. How can do this fit? I want that it looks like this:
http://images.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http://www.originlab.com/www/resources/graph_gallery/images_galleries/Moon.gif&imgrefurl=http://www.originlab.com/www/products/GraphGallery.aspx%3FGID%3D5%26s%3D8%26lm%3D215&usg=__NQ39fk4-1DV429bDdrJTqhfoHno=&h=421&w=447&sz=7&hl=de&start=2&um=1&tbnid=TXZN9WW7i7DviM:&tbnh=120&tbnw=127&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dternary%2Bplot%26um%3D1%26hl%3Dde%26sa%3DG

So far I haven´t any experiences in the work with Origin. I`am a "greenhorn".

Best regards,

Hi Theo,

Actually, the points in the graph haven't been fitted. For the plot type has been set to line, it looks like being fitted. If you have a right fitting model, you may use nonlinear fit tool in Origin to fit the plot.

More details about Ternary please refer to

http://www.originlab.com/www/helponline/Origin8/en/appendix_2_graph_types/ternary_graphs.htm

If this cannot solve your problem, please send your question with more details with following link
