Hi,

I am currently using Origin 8.0.
The import wizards fails to read the data columns of ASCII files in the "Data columns" section (in the header section it works fine).

It returns a "File _______ does not seem to consist of ASCII data" error.

The other import methods work fine, as well as binary file import.

This issue might be related to a recent windows xp update, as the routine had been working fine previously.
