Origin Ver. 7.5 and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: windows XP
when I edit the graph in Origin 7.5, it is at normal size.
after I do the operation "copy page" and pasted to other software like powerpoint, two small lines appear at the right bottom, which is shown in the picture.
Can some one explain why and give me the solution? Thank you first.
completely new user of Origin. Any help will be appreciated. |

I suspect there is a text label on your graph. But its position is out of the visible area. So you cannot see it on the graph. When you copy the graph, it is also copied.
Please email me your opj or ogg file. I will try to fix it. Please use the following web form:

I have checked this possibility before by enlarging the window, But the text label didn't appear even when I go to the limit.
I can't send it to you because I haven't your e-mail.

When a text label is too far from the visible region, you cannot see it even though you have enlarged the graph.

There is a form. Please fill your information in it. Near the bottom, there is a box to allow you attach a file. Please attach your opj (it is better to zip it before you attach it).
If the file is too large, you can follow instructions in this page:

If possible can you just give me the solution by text and I follow your instruction?
This opj file concerns with other one, he donesn't want to give it to others because it contains an script written by him(the script is for special use but hard to develop).

I have followed the step and uploaded the ogg file with only one graph window.
If you can try with this file, and tell me how to delete the two small line, it will be perfect. Thank you

Thank you for sending the graph.
There is indeed a text label (in fact, the legend) which is out of the display range of the layer. The two lines you mentioned are on that label.
To remove it, enter the following in the Script Window:
label -r legend

Thank you very much. only this sentence is enough? I tried it in the script window but the text still exist?
There are many windows in my project. should I fix the operation to this window before start? If yes, how can I fix this window to make the script run?

A much better solution is to set the Margin Control under
the Tools : Options menu on the Page tab to Page.
Doing so tells Origin to limit the rectangle for the image to the Page borders only - ignoring any objects way off the page. |

Thank you. I have suceeded to limit the window!!! But it's better for me to understand how to delete it using script...anyway it's more powerful

The script should be run when the graph is active.
Of course, Greg's solution seems easier.
