How do I fit multiple peaks using a mixed Gaussian/Lorentzian function? It seems that origin only allow me to do this using a pure gaussian or lorentzian function....
You can fit with the Voigt function which is available as a built-in function in Origin, and this is basically a convolution of Gauss and Lorentz line shapes.
I will give a try to the voigt function, otherwise I will define my own function, as alex. suggested.... but you know sometimes it is not necessary to re-invent the wheel......
