Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5
Operating System:Vista
My fitting converges very very slow. I need >11000 iterations to get stable numbers of all the parameter. Is there anyway to improve it or automate the fitting so that I don't have to be around and hit the button for each 100 or 200 iterations? many thanks.

Yu

Larry,

Thank you for your reply. Is there a limit for the number I can input there, like 10000? I am also thinking about write a short script by labtalk so it will automatically stop when the parameter don't change. I just don't know how to keep track of the parameters. Please suggest if you have some clue. Thank you very much.

Yu

Hi Yu:

Could you please read the NLSF object in LabTalk Help for getting a start? You can set nlsf.tolerance to control when the iteration stop. You can also send your script and data to us if it failed.

Thanks
Larry
