I need to draw velocity magnitude (XY) plots at different levels in a plane/surface. How do i do this

I have done the CFD modelling of hydrocyclones. I have created different iso-surfaces say z-=0 and i have created line surfaces at different heights in this surface. I need to show the tangential/velocity plots across these lines on the surface. How do i do this?
