Origin 7.5/ Windows XP

Hallo,

i want to perform a origin c file but there always occure the same mistake at the constructor.

void DataRange_DataRange_Ex1()
{
DataRange dr; // Default constructor
...
...
...

It says that i didnt declaced the variable "datarange".
When i try some examples(without any change by myself) which are in the help of the program i get the same message, too.

Do i need another header? The examples dont even work.

thanks for your help.

Hi Rosie,

You mention that your Origin version is 7.5
DataRange was introduced in 8.0 so it will not work in 7.5

You can download the 8.0 demo and try the examples in 8.0

Hi Rosie,

Please see the example:
http://ocwiki.originlab.com/index.php?title=OriginC:Plot_Contour_from_matrix_and_custom_colormap

This example also worked in Origin7.5.
