Origin Ver. and Service Release 8 sr 6 Operating System: XP
I have spent a couple of unsuccessful hours trying to specify symbol shapes for data. The list in LabTalk web page gives a list of codes for the interior, starting at 0 for solid. But the User guide gives the list of codes for the interior, starting at 0 for no symbol.
It looks as though the web page is wrong. I have been plotting a lot of no symbols.

You mention both Shape and Interior which are completely different. You also do not mention how you are trying to set Shape and/or Interior. Please be more specific.
For Shape : 0 is None, 1 is Square, 2 is Circle, etc. For Interior : 0 is Solid, 1 is Open, 2 is Dot Center, etc.
What page are you viewing where you see something different? |

Sorry I have checked now more carefully. The fill type on both the web site and in the user guide are the same. However in applying Plot details>geometric, the fill codes seem to be 1 out of sync, see illustration below.
The ternary diagram is plotted using the X Y Z set of data, with L and M providing the symbol shape and fill codes. Line 1 is the black triangle on the far right, with codes 3, 1. If the fill code is changed to 0, it disappears. Line 5 is coded 3, 12, just to left of the symbol for line 1. But there is no fill code 12.

In the enhanced legend, the correct codes are recognised only up to arg3=7, but not =>8.
