hello, I plot 3 curves in one graphe and create legend to indicate them, does anyone know how to get rid of the line around the legend area? it looks strange.

Hi,
Click and select the legend, then right-click and select Properties from the conext menu. Then change the Background drop-down to None

can we insert some special characters in the legend? for example, ""
I remember that there are corresponding numbers to special characters. but it's impossible to remember all...

Hi,
In any text label (legend is a text label), double-click the text to enter in-place editing mode, then you can press CTRL-M which will bring up Symbol Map dialog where you can select font and see available characters and insert them.
In version 8.1 which was just recently released, this dialog has a Unicode check box which then makes many more characters available in select unicode supported fonts. You can download 8.1 demo and try.
