Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.5 current update Operating System: XP 32bit
Hi,
I encountered a problem, which I cannot reproduce. Sometimes if I copy a page of a graph and paste it into another application, the graph gets more space on the left side:
Left side: overview in Origin. Right side: overview in other application (here: Photoshop)
If I export the graph to .tif or .emf, it looks the same!
So this happens on more than one graph? Please send an e-mail to tech support, attaching a graph/opj that shows this problem. Please refer to this post in your e-mail.
Yes, it happens to more then one graph. And I think it has to do with the length of the x-axis labels as well as the layout of the page. I will email a document to the support!
You probably have Tools : Options : [Page] : 'Margin Control' set to Tight which grabs the smallest rectangle containing all objects on the page. Since the containers for each Tick Label object are treated as the same size (the size of the largest Tick Label) then the 45 tilt of the first Tick Label creates a rectangle that is off the page and increases the left border.
You can set Tools : Options : [Page] : 'Margin Control' to Page to copy only the page.
