Hi,

I am working on analysis of data in which I have to plot frequency vs the electric field.I want to map the intensity to the grayscale, meaning a more intense line means a darker line.Currently I have a plot with frequency on x-axis and electric field on y-axis with the size of the peak giving me the intensity which is basically a waterfall plot.So instead of peaks I want the grayscale to be the indicator of intensity.
I have uploaded a similar looking graph to the one i want.
Can anyone suggest anything..
Thanks

Hi:

It depends what kind of data you have. Better send us a sample dataset. Anyway, you can always map the symbol color to another dataset to control the color scale.

Thanks
Larry
