Hi

I want to creat a waterfall plot of Raman data where X=raman shift, Y=time and Z=intesity (displayed as color change). But I am failing to do such thing. Can anyone help me plotting this waterfall plot? I can't figure out how to get my data to do such a thing and I don't know which option to use. I am using origin 8.1

thanks

Hi nzshafiq,

Currently we do not support coloring the waterfall lines using z intensity values. You can only apply colors to entire line say using a palette. So for example if your data is organized in worksheet as XYYYY... then a waterfall plot could me made where each Y is plotted with a certain color.

Thanks for the inquiry, we will look into z intensity based coloring, tracker #14976.

Hi,

By chance I have just found this old forum thread.

Yes, we now have the colored Waterfall based on the Z (or Y) value.
