Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Origin8pro
Operating System:Win XP SP2

I need to plot a line-symble graph but several of the data points are closely packed together while the rest are widely dispersed. I looked at the break option and it appears that only one break is possible. The occasions where multiple breaks are necessary to keep the plot tight and data points evenly distributed should not be so rare that such options are not included in Origin. Is there a work-around for this issue?
Any idea is appreciated.

The current workaround is to create an N+1 Layer Graph (where N is the number of Breaks) arranged as 1 row by N+1 columns. Use a small Horizontal Gap (say 5%) and shut off the axis, title and tick labels for the Y axes of layers 2 .. N+1 and Link each of those layers to Layer1 with Y set as 1:1.

This can be easily made with the Layer Management tool. Include your data in every layer and set the scales as needed. The only thing you will not be able to do is connect lines across these pseudo axis breaks.
