When I use FFT to analyze a time series data, the phase angle plotted in the
graph is not between -180 to 180 degree. How is the phase angle in FFT
defined?
Thanks a lot.

FFT Phase Angle - You must Unwrap Phase

When you select, Analysis:FFT switch to the "Settings" tab of the
FFT floating toolbar. You will see a series of check boxes. The default is
to have all of these checked off. You must UNCHECK the box next to
UNWRAP PHASE. You can then switch back to the "Operations" tab to run the FFT
.
This will give you the results you desire.
