Origin 8 SR 6:
Operating System: Win XP

Hello,
how can I calculate the incomplete Gamma function using Origin C for a negative Exponent - in my case e.g. Gamma(-1, 0.01)?
The NAG-function incomplete_gamma is normalized - which does not make sense for these parameters as gamma(-1) diverges - but the incomplete gamma function does not include the singularity and is therefore well-defined.

Hi Alex,

The incomplete_gamma function needs two parameters satisfy a>0 and x>=0. The situation you mentioned is not supported.
