Origin Ver. 8.0 on Win 7

Dear listmates,

I just wonder if any of you have ever tried and succeeded to open and manage Thermo's *.spa files. I guess the files contain binary (infra) spectral data . *.spc files hold similar ( but ASCII) data and their management in Origin is quite straightforward since at least version 5.0.
