Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):8
Operating System: XP

Hello Origin Team,

is it possible with Origin C to "read"/save the background color of a matrix-cell for using it to ajust the background color of other cells/rows/lines? Is it possible to change the text/background color by using origin C at all?
I need it for marking particular cells/rows/lines to orient myself in a huge cell-matrix.

Best Regards, Gutalin

eparent

You can find some examples for working with cell text and background colors here
Formatting a Matrix Sheet

Unfortunately getting the background color is not fully supported. New Grid methods for faster getting and setting of both text and background colors will be available in 8.5.
