Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Origin Pro 8 SR0
Operating System: Windows7

I want to plot 2 lines in one graph. Both have the same x data set, but different y data set (huge difference). I added an second layer. My question is, how can i connect both zero (y1 and y2) positions of two different layers?

Second question: how can i connect both symbol maps?

Or is there another way to have a left and right y axis in one layer?

Thank you for your help!

Hi,

You need two layers as the data re very different. To line up the zero of the y axes of the two layers, see this post:

About connecting both symbol maps, I am not sure what you mean, could you explain?

Hi,

With your graph active, use the menu item "Graph->Update Legend". In the dialog that opens, set Destiation to Whole Page, Update Mode to Reconstruct, and Legend to One Legend for All. There are other options that you can adjust as well, then click Ok. This should then give you one legend with plots from your two layers.
