Origin Ver.8.0 and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:Windows 7

Hello all,
I am trying to get a FFT of waveform (Details are attached as images and origin project file. I could able to do FFT but the peaks are showing at wrong frequency value than expected (5Hz).

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi Visu,

From the picture you posted looks like sampling interval is roughly 1 unit (mv)and one cycle spans about 5 mv, so inverse of 5 is 0.2 and the FFT peak is around that value of 0.2. Of course Hz does not make sense here as your input x is mv and not sec, but nevertheless the value of about 0.2 for the peak is correct.

Not sure why you are expecting the peak to be at 5 (Hz) with this data...
