Maybe I completely overlooked it in the manual, but how can I remove a dataset from a layer contents using labtalk script?

You couldn't find it in the manual because we forgot to include it!

The syntax is:

layer -e datasetname

The 'e' is short for 'exclude'.

For example:

layer -e data4_sample2
