Origin Ver. 8.5.0 and Service Release 1 (Operating System: Win 7 x64)
Impasc x-function with options.ImpMode:=3 gives error “Invalid data range” when used in the empty Origin Project.
I have expected that options.ImpMode:=3 would create a new workbook anyway but it seems to be true only when at least one workbook is present in the Project. I wonder if it is supposed to work like this.

Hi,

Yes, it is odd that with options.impmode:=3 a new book is not being created, we will look into this.

For now you could instead use:

impasc orng:=<new>;

which will create a new book.
