| Has anyone noticed that Origin Pro 8.5.1 Sr2 will cause teribble memory using?Sometimes i found 8.5.1 used about 150M memory and increased quickly up to 800M . Finally the Origin is crashed .... i didn't find same problem on former version like 8.5.0 SR1.The same .opj project used about 123M memory when using 8.5.0 SR1. |

| Infact,i just used the sample project.....i copied this project to my C drive. if i saved it mary times the problem will cause.i think may be some memory leak has occured....but i don't know why. |

i got the same problem with SR2... the memory hole develops especially fast when dealing with complex graphics, particularly transparencies in x-y plot with various colours, etc.
did anyone find any solution? for a relativelly small project I have, the time i can work not interrupted is < 15 mins...

I have encountered what appears to be memory problems with Origin 8.5 SR1. I wrote a script that would embed images, graphs, and tables into worksheet cells for custom report generation. Beyond about 20 pages, the images wouldn't completely render anymore, or the program would crash and I would get an error message that some memory address (I recall it was x0000000)could not be accessed.
I just got in the habit of generating smaller reports. |
