Origin Ver. 8.5 and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): (I will add this later)
Operating System: Windows XP 64

Hello,

I want to use a logarithmic plot for my x-axis, but the direction shall be to the left.
So for example from left to right the range should be from 1e-4 to 1e-6.
It works fine for a linear scale by just typing the higher value as start value, but it doesn't work for logarithmic scale.

Has anyone an idea how to make this work??

Best Regards,

Jan

There was a bug in 8.5 (fixed in 8.5.1) that produced an odd looking, tilted X scale.
The workaround in your version is to leave the scale as 1E-6 to 1E-4 and reverse the layer. With your graph active, open the Command Window (see the Window menu) and type
layer.x.reverse = 1
and press Enter.
