Origin Pro Ver7.5. and Service Release 6 (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Windows 7 starter 32 bits

Hello I have the following type of graph as seen (a). These are X-ray diffractograms. And I need to smooth these graphs as (b). After that i have to draw a baseline and I have to seperate the graph area as seen in (c) and need to calculate the area of red and white areas. How can I do it?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi Atlantis,

Regarding (a), you can use Smoothing feature (from Analysis menu).
Regarding (b) and (c), In ver.7.5, you can use the Baseline tool. In ver.8.5, you can use Peak Analyzer wizard.
