Hello together,

Is it possible to select a special Layer for printing from a worksheet which includes five different Layers for example.

In my special case a have Layer1 for a Graph Y-left / X and Layer 2 is for a Graph Y-right / X together in one Diagramm.
So what I have to do if I only want to print the Graph Layer 1 without deleting the Graph Layer 2 ?
Exist a special Printorder for these Problem ?
Thanks and best regards

Alex

Response to Print Graph

Alex,

There is a way you can avoid having to delete layers. Try the following:.

  1. Make the graph you are interested in printing from active.

  2. Activate the layer you are interested in printing by clicking on the corresponding layer icon in the upper left corner.

  3. Select View:Show:All Layers. Note that this actually de-selects this feature, thus showing only the active layer.

At this point, if you choose to print the graph, only the viewed layer will print. If you wish to print another layer, re-select View:Show:All Layers, activate a different layer, and select View:Show:All Layers again to deactivate the feature and thus hide all other layers.

Note: If one of the axes is not visible for the layer, you may want to enable it. To do so, click on the layer icon for that layer and select Format:Layer. Once in the Layer n Properties dialog box, check off the appropriate check box in the Show Elements group. If they are all checked, close out of this dialog box, select Format:Axes:X Axes , and enable the appropriate check box(es) in the Display group.

Sincerely,
Ryan Toomey
