Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 8 SR0, v8.0724(B724)
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate x64

I have a scatter plot, that is created by having columns of repeating XYL types (across one row). I get the scatter plot with my labels on my data points, however, because they are not grouped, I need to go in and individually adjust the format of every single data point. I want to make them all the same y offset, justification and white out.

I had just tried doing this with just one xyl column and multiple rows, but I can't seem to then have each data point be represented as a new shape, just as a new color which is not sufficient for me.

Solutions/assistance in solving either problem would be most appreciated.

You can use a column to specify the shape for each point. Then check Show Construction in Plot Details dialog. And select a column in the Shape drop-down list.

This is perfect, thank you so much! Really simplified how I make the graphs.
