Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:

¡¾There is an ERROR shown like the following sentence when I open an Excel profile in Origin 8.0 :

"You try to open file "oxlC358" format with the file extension specified format inconsistencies, open the file before you verify the file is not corrupted and is from reliable sources, whether immediately open the file?"¡¿

Hi caijj09,

Is the problem the file specific? or, any Excel file(.XLS or .XLSX?) shows the same problem? Or, the problem might be fixed in the latest service release of Origin, or in the latest version of Origin. It is difficult to say from only the information you wrote. I suggest you to contact OriginLab Technical Support, or technical support team of the Origin distributor in your country. They may want to try your Excel file to reproduce the problem.

Thanks for your attention. the version of my softwares are Origin 8.0, Excel-2010 respectively, and the problem occured only on such files which contain the Excel file (.XLSX)£¬my Operating System is Windows 7.

When I creat a new Origin file to analysis data without Excel, the new file is OK.
