Hello,
how is it possible to extract a part of string. I choose the string this way:
Worksheet wks = Project.ActiveLayer(); string str; wks.GetCell(0, 0, str);
In the specefied cell is for example "xy13,5". Now I just want to save a part of it like "13,5" to another string.
Hope you can help me.

Posted - 10/07/2010 : 3:37:24 PM Hi Chris,
there are various Methods to manipulate a string. Just look it up in: Help -> Programming -> OriginC
There you will find in: OriginC Reference -> Classes -> Composite Datatypes -> String
all Methods you need for operations like that.
Here is the link where you can find this in Origin wiki: http://ocwiki.originlab.com/index.php?title=Category:String_%28class%29

string strExtract=str.Mid(2); |
