Posted - 05/19/2014 : 1:04:14 PM Hello,
I have a computed lines spectrum, composed of a small number of discrete coordinates (wavenumber, intensity). I also have the experimental spectrum, recorded on my system, composed of a large number of data points (wavenumber, intensity). I know that the response of the experimental system is a voigt function.
What I'm trying to do is to convolute the discrete peaks with a voigt function (applied for each of the peaks in respect for X,Y coordinates)to see if I obtain something close to the experimental spectrum. Except I have no idea on how to do that.
See image of the data for more clarity. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ay2myyjddy9lu9m/spectrum.png
Any help on that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Using Origin 8.0.63.988 SR6 and Win7 32B |

Posted - 05/20/2014 : 04:30:43 AM Hi, Thanks for your help, but this in not what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to make a Voigt out of each theoretical peak (displayed as green), and see if summing the superposition gives me my signal (black curve) |
