Hello,

I have a computed lines spectrum, composed of a small number of discrete coordinates (wavenumber, intensity).
I also have the experimental spectrum, recorded on my system, composed of a large number of data points (wavenumber, intensity).
I know that the response of the experimental system is a voigt function.

What I'm trying to do is to convolute the discrete peaks with a voigt function (applied for each of the peaks in respect for X,Y coordinates)to see if I obtain something close to the experimental spectrum. Except I have no idea on how to do that.

See image of the data for more clarity.

Any help on that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Using Origin 8.0.63.988 SR6 and Win7 32B

Hi,
Thanks for your help, but this in not what I'm trying to do.
I'm trying to make a Voigt out of each theoretical peak (displayed as green), and see if summing the superposition gives me my signal (black curve)
