Posted - 07/15/2019 : 9:06:02 PM I have a workbook with two columns A(X) and B(Y). I have plotted the red curve on the plot. The plot type is the 'Line+Symbol'.
As one can see the curve has some self-crossing points and I need to fill the outside area of the curve.
My attempt: Plot Details -> Line -> Fill area under curve -> Exclusive broken by missing value.
I have problems with the area and axis.
Expected result is:
How to fill an area on the plot?

I cannot see problem here.
It may be related to your data order. Please send your data to tech@originlab.com so I can check.

Posted - 07/16/2019 : 7:24:46 PM Amanda, your algorithm is OK only for a curve without self-intersecting points (right), but I have a problem with the left graph that contains self-intersecting points.

You can fill layer background color with red and then fill “Exclusive broken by missing value” with white.
