Hey Origin Team,

Hope everyone is doing well. Just had another quick question. I'm trying to make a custom toolbar that has all of the toolbar buttons we always use (X,Y, data select, plot lone, etc). I would make the toolbar, uncheck the toolbar I'm no longer using. When ever I open origin via origin85.exe or origin86.exe (depending on the version) the toolbar is there. But when we have some custom software open origin automatically (using the dos path built into windows 7 under environmental variables), the toolbar will not appear. We've even tried pinning the toolbar, but even that doesn't always work. Any suggestions?

thank you for your help,
gleeblejim

I don't understand. I haven't had any problem creating floating toolbars in OriginPro8.6. My only problem is the Tool Tips doesn't seem to work with them, but that is not critical.

I know it weird! I can open up Origin by using the Origin Icon and it will be there everytime. But when our data collection software opens Origin to dump the data into for analysis, the tool bar usually won't appear. It will be in View -> Toolbar unchecked. I'm not sure if it is something wrong with the opx it make or what.
