Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 81SR3
Operating System: Win7

hi!
would somebody please be so kind and give me a hint on how to import/access the metadata along the real data stored in a HEKA (Patchmaster) data file? the import of the data itself works fine, but somehow whatever i try i fail to bring the metadata in. i have attempted to find it in the organizer, under the default impinfo treenode, or my own treenode specified upon import (e.g. tree trhead; impheka trheader:=trhead -d;). all of these end up empty. i have made sure the HEKA file is "bundled", i.e. data and metadata are all stored in the same file. thanks.

Hi slavoj,

I am sorry to tell you that currently Origin does not support metadata import for HEKA data file.

hi Penn!
thanks for the reply. that is unfortunate. if i may be curious, why is it that the documentation and the code of the impHEKA function imply the contrary? has the support for the metadata import been discontinued?

Hi slavoj,

Sorry that there is a mistake in the document. Actually, the trheader variable is not implemented yet. The document is updated for this.
