Hi,
Is there any way of performing a vertical translate in just part of a dataset in OriginPro 8 SR0?
I've tried using the Data Selector tool to highlight the range of data I want to translate, but the Vertical Translate tool seems to always affect the whole dataset.
Thanks a lot |

Hi hbotelho,
I have tried both (reginal) Data Selector tool and Vertical Translation tool together, and succeeded to shift data only in the range as shown below (at least in my Origin 8.6). Maybe you can try this procedure.

Hi Hideo,
Thanks a for the quick and clear reply. I have tried your suggestion but still couldn't shift my data appropriately. I am able to select the data using the Regional Selection Tool, pick the Vertical Translate Tool, select a data point within the regional selection and drag the red horizontal line. However, this shifts the whole data set. I'm posting a screenshot for your reference.
Am I doing something wrong?
Many thanks

Hi hbotelho,
I have just tried Origin 8.0 SR6, and it worked OK. Could you please first upgrade your Origin to SR6 from your current SR0, which is the earliest service release.
