Origin Ver. 8.60 and Service Release SR1 (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:WIn7

Hi
I have created few plots as layers in a single graph page. I can hide other layers if I just want to focus on one plot at a time. The same I do for copying, but when I copy and paste the desired plot into the MSWord 2007, I get the whole page not only the plot. In addition, the size of the plot when pasted is quite different than what I created in origin.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi andre85,

In Origin workspace, a layer alone cannot stand by itself unless contained
in a page - one layer in one page is okay. So, pasted graph in Word should be
a page (as you double-click the image, Origin starts with the page). If you
want to paste only a layer in a page, I suggest to choose "Graph: Extract to Graph"
menu beforehand, then you can copy-and-paste the specific page into Word.
But, be aware that your layer in the original page may be only partial in a page -
for example, from double-Y graph, the X axis in the Layer2 is hidden.

Does it make sense?

Thanks Fuji,

I did not mean what you explained. I solved the problem from tools-->options-->page, where I made ratio 100 and margin control to tight.
